VR Living Room (Kinect + Leap Motion + Oculus Rift)

The video shows an application, where an avatar is situated in a virtual living room. The user can see through the eyes of the avatar via the Oculus Rift. Hence, it is possible to look around. The Kinect furthermore enables the user to walk in the room. The Leap Motion is mounted on the Rift and when the user moves his hand into his field of view the movements of the fingers are transferred into the application.
The application uses the CORPUS framework (https://github.com/scopus777/corpus) – a multisensor data fusion framework simplifying the creation process of applications using sensors tracking the human body or parts of it. The application receives the current positions and orientations of the user’s joints multiple times per second via a WebSocket connection.
